Christmas Layout

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  It is always great to be surrounded by those I love.  In that spirit, I want to share with you a quick 1-page layout I created.  This was so simple to make.  I used the December bear from Calendar Cuties and the Sophisticated Scallops file and the Garden Splendor file for the flower.  This should be the end of Christmas crafts until next year!!!

More 12 Days of Christmas projects

Here are a couple more of the 12 Days of Christmas projects over at Scraptastical Kreations.

For the 5th day of Christmas, I altered a journal.  So easy and so useful!  Used the Christmas tree from the Here Comes Santa Claus file. http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_159/Here-Comes-Santa.htm

For the 6th Day of Christmas I made a very glittery and sweet pocket.  Used the Pocket Full of Love, http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_27/Pocket-Full-of-Love.htm, and the Gingerbread Cheer file, http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_80/Gingerbread-Cheer.htm.

For the 7th Day of Christmas I made a penguin treat box that holds some hot chocolate and marshmallows.  Used the shovel penguin, without the shovel from the Snow Many Memories set (http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_124/Snow-Many-Memories.htm).

For the 8th Day of Christmas, I made a winter wand.  Used the star from the Dear Santa tree (http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_129/Dear-Santa.htm) and the snowman from the Snow Buddies file (http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/item_155/Snow-Buddies-Like-Us.htm).

I apologize but I was not able to finish out the 12 Days of Christmas.  Make sure you check out the other Design Team Member's projects!  It was so much fun thinking out of the box for this!  I loved doing it.

Thankful Banner

Hi.  I have created a really quick banner for you to see.  It will go up at my mom's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving.  Hope you like it.  It didn't take me long to make it.  Used the Banner Blitz file from Scraptastical Kreations.  Have you checked out their patterns?  Very cute!  I also used the Rosette die from Tim Holtz in my Sizzix Big Shot!  I kept it very simple.  I didn't think it needed anything else.

Here's a close-up of the banner.  Also used the Mickey Font cartridge with my Cricut for the letters.

This Week

Hello friends!  I have a couple of things to show you this week.  I made a layout of someone that I am thankful for on Friday.  It's of my hubby!  Without him, I don't know where I would be. I used files from Scraptastical Designs for these projects.

I am also sharing a flower jar that I altered on Saturday. I made a scallop tag for the front with a bear on it.  Decorated the top with a large flower resembling a poinsettia.  This was fun to do!
